Rejection

Do you ever feel rejected? Unloved? Unwanted? We all feel it at different degrees at different [pints in our lives. Maybe your parents don't let you do something you feel to be perfectly okay, and you feel unloved. Or you get bullied at school and you feel rejected. At the lowest point in our lives when we feel rejected is when we forget that the Lord was also rejected. He came as the Promised One and was rejected by His own people, the Jews. The point when He was arrested was when His friends (the disciples) fled and left Him. So when we feel rejected, the Lord is able to understand what we are going through and give us strength. 'For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin' Hebrews 4:15. Pray for strength and wisdom at these times. Also, we must remember that the Lord never leaves us and is able to comfort us during our lowest times. 'Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.' Psalm 139:7-8.
