Adoption

My procrastinating is so bad! I wasn’t going to post anything this week, but I really should ;)

Okay, so we’re going to talk about adoption today. As in, adopted by God the Father. There is a difference between us and Jesus in this way. Jesus said ‘My Father and your Father.’ What’s the difference? 

You see, God has been that Father of Jesus the Son for all eternity (there was no beginning). We, however, are sons by adoption (females too). Our relationship had a beginning when we confessed our sins to God, but it has no end, so we will be with Him for eternity- No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand. John 10:29.  We can be so thankful that nothing can ever end this relationship, no matter how many trials or temptations we fall into.
