Moses- a man of God

'At this time Moses was born, and was well pleasing to God; and he was brought up in his father’s house for three months.  But when he was set out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him away and brought him up as her own son.  And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and deeds.
“Now when he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren, the children of Israel' Acts 7:20-23

'By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.
By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible' Hebrews 11:23-27

Moses choose to be separated from Egypt. Just like him, we have to walk a separate path from the world.
He was brought up by his parents for 3 months, and for parents now, there is an opportunity to bring up our children for the Lord. Even if you don't have children yourself, pray for other children, help in a Sunday School; there are so many things we can do to help children come to the Lord.
Moses was taught in all the wisdom of Egypt. In school, college, and university, we are taught in the wisdom of the world. Be careful what you are influenced by.
Remember, we are siding with the One that the world rejected, but with the One that God has glorified. We have to make a decision: will you be separate from the world?
