What are the new things God has given us? (part 2)

Continuing from last time, what are the new things that God has given us? 

• ' And have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him' Colossians 3:10.The new man is different to the new nature. We still have the flesh, but our old man is put away. We are now what we are in Christ. We have the new features of Christ, which we should show because we have a new identity- the new man. 
•  'For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.' Ephesians 2:14-16. This is a collective, as the middle wall between Jew and Gentile has been removed and both have been united as one man. 
• 'For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.' Matthew 26:28. The new covenant is the covenant of grace. It is forgiveness and the Lord's supper is on the basis of this. We know that we have forgiveness because of what he has done. 
• -'And they sang a new song, saying:
  “You are worthy to take the scroll,
  And to open its seals;
  For You were slain,
  And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
  Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

  And have made us kings and priests to our God;
  And we shall reign on the earth.”' Revelation 5:9-10

  
  
  -'He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
  Out of the miry clay,
  And set my feet upon a rock,
  And established my steps.He has put a new song in my mouth—
  Praise to our God;
  Many will see it and fear,
  And will trust in the Lord.' Psalms 40:2-3                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Christ went to the cross and God raised Him up. This is were the song starts and goes onto eternity because of what he has done.
• 'Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.' Revelation 21:1                                                  'Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.”' Revelation 21:5                                                                                                                                         There will be a new creation, and we can anticipate the blessings of the new creation. After the millennium, there will be a state which God wants. It will be completely new. When God works new things, they are completely wonderful.
