To be content

"For I have learnt in whatever state I am to be content" Philippians 4:11

If you are reading this, you obviously have internet. So if you have internet, we can safely assume you have sufficient in all other needs, particularly the main necessities: food, water and shelter. However, how many times do you act as if we are not content with what we have. So often I hear people say 'I wish I had the new iPhone' or 'my laptop is so old, I really need a new one'. But in our Bible's we read that God provides for our every need. Philippians tells us that we can be content in every state even when we are 'abased' and when we 'abound' (verse 12). And why can we be content? Because "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (verse 13)
