An account

That which is has already been, and what is to be has already been; and God requires an account of what is past. Ecclesiastes 3:15

I read this verse a couple of days ago during my quiet time and it really reminded me that one day, in heaven, we will have to give an account of our lives. Everything that we have done that is against God, we will see. How thankful we can be for His grace in giving His Son to die in our place for our sins, so that we don't have the eternal suffering in hell. But all that we have done, we will have to give an account. Let us bear that in mind in our every day lives, so that we do His will and live our lives for Him.
